About the job

We are looking for talented and driven junior to mid-weight UX/Digital product designers to join our team.

You'll be working within our experience team on both consultant and account assignments, in for example our new and existing clients in energy, telecommunications and software platforms.

This job is based in Helsinki, and requires ~50% of working either at Nordkapp office in Kallio, or at our client premises in the Helsinki capital area, based on existing team requirements.

For this job you need to be either reside in Finland or be eligible to work in the EU. 

About you

Design Skills: You work independently on crafting detailed flows in digital environment, and work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver production ready assets. 

You understand the meaning and relevance of user research and co-creation with actual people and know how to walk the fine line between proven knowledge and designer insight. 

You are curious by nature and comfortable with designing prototyping your ideas in a suitable tool such as Figma and Principle.

People skills: You are a people person. You like to work with others—your team and the client— from the early, fuzzy phase to workshopping to delivering concepts in their final form. When it comes down to it, war rooms (physical/virtual) are your second home.

Process skills: Lean and iterative projects are your second nature, and you are comfortable working with developers to build best work possible, on time and on budget.

You apply your design knowledge to projects intuitively. You like to think by sketching out your ideas, and enjoy working through them with the team before delivering the final thing.

Experience: at least two years in an hands-on position either in-house, as a consultant or as a freelancer. 

Education: Preferably either BA or MA in related field.
